Peter M. Dickerson

AGE: 56 • Highlands

Peter M. Dickerson, 56, Highlands, NJ., passed away Friday, July 18, 2014. He passed away suddenly while surfing at Sandy Hook, NJ. Born in Red Bank, NJ., he resided in Little Silver, NJ., and moved to Highlands in 1983.

He was Real Estate Agent for over 25 yrs. working for Bahr's, Sotheby's and most recently Resources Real Estate, Rumson, NJ. He was a 1983 graduate of Stockton State College with a BA degree. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed surfing. He was also active with the Monmouth Boat Club and the North Shrewsbury Ice Boat & Yacht Club both in Red Bank. Peter was a kind, compassionate & gentle soul who was loved by all who knew him. He is survived by 1 Brother; Randall & wife Linda Dickerson, Leonardo, NJ., 2 Sisters (twin sisters); Lynn Tallman, Middletown, NJ., Tracey Giles, of Silver Springs, FL. A very Special Friend; Leigh. 6 Nieces & nephews; Randi, Lindsey, Robbie, Sarah, Devin & Dawson. Pre-deceased Family Members: Parents; Reid & Carol (Wylde) Dickerson.

Relatives & friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering on Wednesday, from 6-8PM at Posten's Funeral Home, 59 E. Lincoln Ave. at Central & E. Garfield Ave. Atlantic Highlands, NJ.
