Robert J. Weeks (Bob), 78, of Sea Girt, NJ and Longboat Key, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 surrounded by his family. Bob was born in Goshen, NY and lived in Monroe, NY for 34 years. Bob, his wife Patricia and family moved to Sea Girt, NJ in 1968. He graduated from Manhattan College in 1958. He had a successful 35 year career at Dun & Bradstreet as a Vice President of Operations. He also attended Dartmouth College (Tuck School of Business) Leadership Training Program. Bob was also a veteran of the Korean War. Bob's pleasure in life was spending time with his loving family. He enjoyed playing golf with his Sea Girt and Florida friends. Bob loved to go to Florida in the winter months where he was active in the Spanish Main Yacht Club community. He regularly volunteered his time for AARP Foundation Tax Aide and the Sea Girt Community Appeal. He was a parishioner at St. Mark's R.C. Church in Sea Girt where he was active through the years in various capacities.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Elwood S. and Elizabeth A. Weeks and his sister, Elizabeth W. Moore. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Patricia Ann (Roche) Weeks and his seven children, Christopher Weeks (wife Kathleen) of Walnut Creek, CA, Lori Gouldson (husband Gerard) of Westfield, NJ, Mary Beth Snyder (husband James) of Lancaster, PA, Michael Weeks (wife Cindy) of Bluffton, SC, Thomas Weeks of Point Pleasant, NJ, Nancy Harman (husband James) of Brielle, NJ and Jamie Weeks of Wall, NJ. He is also survived by three brothers and two sisters, Richard Weeks (his twin brother) of San Diego, CA, Donald Weeks and David Weeks (both of Monroe, NY), Muriel Alex of Sacramento, CA and Patricia Porvaznik of Newburgh, NY. He leaves his much beloved 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, Robert, Kevin and Katie Weeks, Mark, Kelley and Sean Snyder, Mary Gouldson, Emily, Abby, Shannon and Gracie Harman, Maggie Weeks and great-grandchildren, Carter and Liam Foltz. Bob also leaves behind many near and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Bob's memory to the St. Mark's Social Concerns and the Sea Girt Community Appeal. Visiting will be on Friday, Jan. 4th from 3pm to 7pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35, Wall, N.J. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 5th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Marks R.C. Church in Sea Girt. Burial will be at St. Anne's Cemetery in Wall, N.J.
