God Bless you Father Rocco! You came into my life when you arrived at St. Andrews. My Mom was homebound and her name was in your book to visit her monthly. Even hearing the same stories over and over again you were very patient and stayed to keep her company. Your kindness cheered her greatly and touched my heart forever.

Fr. Rocco was a longtime friend of our family . He and my brother were best friends and participated in many of the CYO activities before Fr. Rocco became a priest. He married my husband and I and later officiated as we renewed our vows after 25 years. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed. My dear brother passed away the day after Fr. Rocco and I'd like to think that heaven's two newest angels are once again enjoying each other's company. God bless them both.

My sincere condolences to Georgiana and Family on Fr. Rocky's passing. He is at peace. My thoughts are with you all.

I have many fond memories of Rocky's antics when I joined the St. Michael's C.Y.O young adult group in Union City during the latter part of the 1950's. He sure was a great guy. His call to the priesthood did not surprise me as he had a great deal of compassion for others.

God Bless

I first met Rocco Provinzano in Jersey
City..He attended and graduated from Wm.
L.Dickinson HS and I recall he Marched with the High School band...His Brother, Gerry on the other hand attended and graduated from ST Peters
Prep in Jersey City and we both served
in the armed forces during the Korean
War..One of Father Rocky's first masses
was at Ascension Parish in New Milford and he ceberated a Funeral Mass for my
best Man, Bill Hooten, A fire captain in Jersey City...All of our crew thought the world of Father Rocco as were growing up (he was about three years older than us)..His entry into the Priesthood was too good to be true,
May he rest in Peace.

Rev. Rocco was my dear friend and a great part of my life in Jersey City. He was kind, funny and deeply spiritual. He entered priesthood at a later age but he knew what he wanted. Loved meeting him and his friends in Union City. I knew his Mom and she too was a very kind lady He will always be a part of my life until we meet again in the great Heaven above. My deepest sympathy to his sister and family.
