Adam P. Antenucci, 92, of Middletown, passed away at his residence at Brighton Gardens on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Adam was born and raised in the Eltingville section of Staten Island. During World War II, Adam served with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was the general manager for Con Ed, New York City, NY, retiring in 1987 after 44 years of service. While living in Staten Island, Adam was very active in the Boy Scouts, Kiwanis, the Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Education. For 20 years, Adam and his wife made their residence in Shady Oaks, Middletown before moving to Brighton Gardens. For several years, they also owned a second home in the Tampa, FL area. Adam loved to play a good game of golf.
Adam is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margaret; a son, Jeffrey and wife Maryann of Leonardo and his two daughters, Jamie and Julie; daughter-in-law, Alison Antenucci and her two daughters, Jessica and Amy Antenucci and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 10, with a prayer service being offered at 7 p.m. at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 11 at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
