Albert "Rick" Maddocks Jr., age 66, of Highland Park, NJ passed into eternal life on October 21st 2016 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. after a long illness. Rick's loving family was by his side at his passing. Rick was born in Neptune, NJ and lived in Wall Twp prior to moving to Highland Park.

He was predeceased by his wife Susan, his daughter Alyson, and his father Albert Maddocks Sr., his maternal grandparents Peter and Ethel Helfrich and his adoring paternal grandmother Thelma Maddocks and his great-grandmother Anna Gifford.

Surviving are his mother, Catherine I. Maddocks, his sisters Donna Hubbard (Craig), Marci Olah, Nanci Shatkus, brother Jon Maddocks (Cathy) and his son Ricky who he had such undying love for, his aunt Suzanne Jost, and his beloved Aunt Patty Sallas who took such wonderful care of him through the years. Rick graduated from Wall High School in 1968. Among his many jobs, he was a commercial fisherman working alongside his father, and he also was a painter.

Rick loved life, lived it to the fullest and will always be remembered as a care-free funny guy. He loved riding motorcycles especially his Harley Softail Deluxe. Rick was always smiling, joking and always had a funny story to tell. In his own words, Rick says that he is "Looking to just be at peace with others and to enjoy life." That's the way he lived his life and that's the way we will always lovingly remember him.

With never ending love we will always carry Rick's memory in our hearts.
