Craig D. Goodwin Sr.

AGE: 63 • Keansburg

Craig D. Goodwin, Sr., 63, died Monday at home. He was a resident of the Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen Township for 25 years before moving to Keansburg eight years ago. Craig proudly served in the US Navy from 1968-1974. He was employed by Pathmark for 38 years before retiring in 2012. He loved his Candy Apple Red Mustang, the NY Mets, Boxer Dogs, The Jersey Shore and his family.

He leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Margaret (Watrous); daughter, Dennise and her husband Anthony Romano of Robbinsville; sons, Craig D. Goodwin-Ortiz de Leon and his husband Arturo from Elmhurst, NY and David A. Goodwin of Keansburg; two grandchildren, Anthony Jr. & Katie Romano. He is also survived by a sister, Carol Brenner; three brothers, Robin and his wife Ann, Guy and his wife Denise, George Zsamba and his wife Lindan along with 12 nieces and nephews and a great-niece.

Visitation will be held Thursday Sept. 12, 2013 at the Laurel Funeral Home, 201 Laurel Ave., West Keansburg, NJ 07734 from 6-9pm. A Funeral Service will be Friday 9:30am at the funeral home, with an Interment to follow at William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown.
