Dante Corsilli, Jr.

AGE: 69 • Manville

Dante Corsilli, Jr., 69, passed away early Monday morning September 23, 2013 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, NJ with his family at his side. Dante was born October 27, 1943, in Newark, NJ the son of the late Dante, Sr. and Mary Corsilli. He later moved to Hunterdon County with his immediate family and was a Hunterdon Central High School graduate in 1961. After high school, he joined the United States Army in which he was an expert marksman and was invited to join the Green Berets. In addition, Dante Corsilli, Jr. also served his Country by becoming one of the finest tank mechanics in the army and proved himself while stationed in Korea. After serving his Country Honorably in the United States Army, Dante met his wife Barbara Jean Stack and they had two sons. A true modern day renaissance man, Dante went from carpentry and mechanics to complex computer systems during the 1980's. Dante worked for Johnson and Johnson for almost twenty years. He later started his own SAP computer consulting firm called Alba Lugo Inc. LLC, a name derived from our ancient Roman Heritage. Dante was a model citizen, in which he dedicated much of his own time to help the children in Manville. He was recognized by the Manville Youth Athletic League as a lifetime member for his years of dedication. He also helped raise money for sick children by working with former Manville gym teacher Mr. Koes, where they created Mike's Fund. Dante had the privilege of becoming a grandfather after his eldest son Christopher had two boys of his own. He was a resident of Manville, NJ for the past 42 years. Dante was a member of Christ The King Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Barbara Jean Corsilli of Manville, NJ, his two sons Christopher J. Corsilli and his wife Kerianne of South Brunswick, NJ and Drew Michael Corsilli of Clinton Twp., NJ and by his three sisters Carol Comerford of Whitehouse, NJ, Carmen Griffin of Pennsylvania and Angela Langowski of Wisconsin. He is also survived by his two cherished grandsons Christopher Dante Corsilli and Michael Anthony Corsilli.

The viewing will be on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 5 to 9 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ. (908)575-8512. The Funeral will be on Saturday, September 28, 2013 8:15 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a 9:00 AM Mass at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ.
