Edward Hulak, 79 of Port Reading passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at JFK Medical Center, Edison on Dec. 7th 2012. Born in Sewaren, he was a lifelong resident of Port Reading. Retiring in 2008, Edward worked at JFK Medical Center as a custodian for twenty four years and also worked for Copperwork's in Carteret. Edward proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Edward was greatly loved and will be missed for his smile, his laughter and his jokes.
Edward is predeceased by his parents George and Mary (Jascur) Hulak; four brothers John, Andrew, Ronald, Robert; four sisters Irene Brozowski, Margaret Kijowski, Vilma Yanevich, and Barbara Hulak. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of thirty eight years Patricia Hulak (Lumberg); children Scott Hulak of Milltown, John Mickey and his wife Mickey of Ohio, Chris Mickey and his wife Donna of Ohio, James Mickey of Ohio; a brother George Hulak; a sister Emma Pyatt; seven grandchildren Alex, Aaron, Keith, Jacob, Jakob, Kaitlyn, Jackie, and many loving nieces and nephews.
