Emidio "Tony" Giacinti, 72, of Brick, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at home. Born in VenaGrande-Ascoli Pacino, Italy, he lived in Toms River prior to moving to Brick in 1989. He was a self-employed truck driver working many years until his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW, both of Brick. He was an avid fisherman.

He was predeceased by his mom, Clara Bachetti; and his dad, Antonio Giacinti. Tony is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Jeanette Giacinti (nee Conant); his children, Anthony Giacinti and his wife of Toms River, Dawna Meier and her husband of Beachwood, and Louie Giacinti and his wife, Rita Giacinti and Dina Giacinti, all of Florida; his brothers, Mimmo, Antonio and Enzo Palaferri; his sisters, Maria Rita Giacinti, and Marcella Palaferri. He is also survived by many loving family members. Emidio Giacinti has touch many hearts and will be truly missed by everyone.
