Eric R. Bray Obituary
Eric R. Bray

AGE: 36 • Brick

Eric R. Bray, 36, of Brick, NJ was suddenly called to Heaven on November 7, 2016. Eric was born in Torance, Calif. He grew up in Lakewood and lived there many years before moving to Brick six years ago, where he resided with his wife, Kristine and two daughters Haleigh, age three, and Emma, five months old. He was a master HVAC technician in the area. He was proudly ranked as an E-5 Navy Veteran and honorably discharged in June 2006. Eric and his family were members of St. Dominic's Church in Brick.

Eric loved the thrill of life and it trickled over into all he did and to all he encountered! He was always the first person to drop anything and be there for his family and friends. He was a HUGE fan of the N.Y. Giants! He also had an enormous passion for building and racing cars, and already started sharing this hobby with his little sweetheart, Haleigh. He enjoyed fishing and diving with his brother, Kevin. Him and his wife traveled many places, favorites being several cruises to the Caribbean. Among the long list of things that made him smile, nothing made him happier and more proud than time spent with his three girls.

Surviving are the love of his life, Kristine, and their two adoring daughters: Haleigh and Emma; his parents: Roger and Nancy Bray of Barnegat; his brother, Kevin Bray and his wife, Gail Katherine of Toms River. Eric was a proud and big-hearted uncle and Godfather to Kevin's daughter, Annabelle. Also surviving are his in-laws: Donald and Deborah Anilonis of Brick, his brother-in-law, Mark Anilonis of Brick, and his Maternal Grandmother Alice Harrison of Barnegat. There are also countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, who will also be missing his smile and contagious laugh.

Family and friends can offer their condolences on Friday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home 2170 Hwy. 88 Brick. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 9:00am at St. Dominic's Church in Brick. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Brielle, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family through envelopes provided by the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.colonialfuneralgroup.com
