Francis Gary Stover

AGE: 67 • Fair Haven

Francis Gary Stover, 67, of Fair Haven, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012. He was born in Long Branch, raised in Keansburg and eventually moved to Fair Haven where he has resided for the last 35 years. Gary was in the first graduating class of CBA and then went on to graduate from Seton Hall University where he was

the Commander of the Persing Rifle Drill Team. Gary proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged as a Captain. He was the former Commodore of the Shrewsbury River Yacht Club, a founding member of the Rumson Hash House Harriers Running Club, a member of the AICPA (American Institute of CPA's), Treasurer of Laird's Applejack of Scobeyville, NJ and most recently the Assistant Treasurer of Dean Technology in Howell, NJ. He enjoyed cooking and participated in Chili Cook-off's.

He is predeceased by parents, Francis and Marie (nee Trenery); and his beloved son, Kevin, in 2008. Gary is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemarie; his oldest son, F. Gary Stover of Keansburg; his two daughters, Amy and Dawn Stover, both of Fair Haven; and his granddaughter, Nicole Vuille. Also surviving are his brothers, Glenn and Steven Stover, and many dear nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10 at the Church of the Nativity, Fair Haven. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
