Frank A. Colandreo

Frank A. Colandreo, 85, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 25th at Arnold Walter Nursing Home in Holmdel. Frank was born on July 27, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY, where he grew up. In 1957, he and his wife, Harriet, moved to Jersey City and in 1978, they ultimately settled in Hazlet. Frank was a retired salesman and truck driver for Taystee Bread Co. and was also a proud U.S. Army Veteran, serving during WWII.
He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Frances (Marolla) Colandreo, his beloved wife, Harriet (Meyers) Colandreo and his dear brother, Michael Colandreo and his wife Theresa. Frank is survived by his loving sons, Frank Colandreo and his wife Elizabeth of Hazlet, Brian Colandreo and his wife Donna of Bow, NH, his dear brothers and sister, Benny Colandreo and his wife Terry, Cosmo Colandreo and his wife Anna and Lucy Colandreo, all of Boyton Beach, FL, and his cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Alyssa and Regina Colandreo. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, January 30th from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Rt. 35 N, Hazlet. A prayer service will be offered during Wednesday's evening visiting hours. In respect of Frank's wishes, he will be privately cremated.
