Frank Petrucelli, USNRR LCDR, 80, of Edison, died on May, 24, 2013 at Haven Hospice in Edison. Born February 11, 1933 in Orange, NJ, he has lived in Edison for the last 50 years.
He received hid BA and MBA from Montclair State University. Frank enlisted in the United States Navy in 1952 and was discharged a Lieutenant Commander in 1983. He also spent many years in the Navy Reserves. He was a Blue and Gold Information Officer at the US Naval Academy. After retiring from active duty, Frank worked for the Edison School District for 35 years retiring as the Supervisor of Guidance Counseling at JP Stevens High School.
He is predeceased by his brother Salvatore Petrucelli. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Marilyn Petrucelli (nee DeZao); three sons, Steven Petrucelli and his wife Randi; Christopher Petrucelli and his wife Eve; Jeffrey Petrucelli and a daughter, Patricia McCaffrey; six grandchildren Gabrielle; Nicholas; Andrew; Francesca; Briana and Olivia; brother, Joseph Petrucelli; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son funeral home 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin Wednesday 10:45 am at the funeral home followed by an 11:30 am Funeral Liturgy at St. Helena's Church.
