George C. Kroll
AGE: 72 • Toms River
George C. Kroll, 72, of Toms River, passed on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Born in Passaic he lived in Garfield most of his life moving to Brick in 1966 and Toms River in 1968. George retired from the Department of Banking and Insurance Fraud Unit as Chief of Investigations in 2011. He retired from the State Police as Lieutenant after 25 years. He served in the United States Navy for 5 years during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a parishioner of St. Luke RC Church, Toms River, a member of the American Legion Post 129 Toms River, the Tin Can Sailors National Association and the Former NJ State Troopers Association. He was also an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his loving wife Patricia, his daughter Karen and her husband P.J. Jannarone, two sons Paul G., David S. and his wife Jody. His sisters Ruth McKeown and Kristine and her husband Ronald Schley. His five grandchildren Ashley, Joseph, Tyler, Danielle and Dylan, his sister-in-law Cookie Tuckerman, nephew Jonathan Tuckerman, nieces Abby Tuckerman, Nichole Schley, Robin Pulzone, and his aunt Marie Thoma.
