George Sumner Casaletto

AGE: 83 • Elkins Park, PA

George Sumner Casaletto, 83, of Elkins Park, PA, passed away peacefully, Sunday, April 7, 2013, at home. Born in Wilmington, MA, he resided in Keyport, before moving to PA. He worked as a truck driver with Crouch Brothers Transportation in Jersey City. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

George was predeceased by his parents, James E. Casaletto and Winnifred Mooers-Bell; his stepmother, Helen Casaletto; a son, William Casaletto; and two brothers, James and Edwin Casaletto. He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Casaletto; his children, James E. Casaletto and wife Joan of Groveland, MA, Denise Pickens and husband Robert of Hazlet, George D. Casaletto and wife Khristine of Middletown, Richard J. Casaletto of Matawan, Nadine Casaletto McCleary and husband Michael of Elkins Park, PA; his siblings, Joseph Casaletto and wife Claire of Peabody, MA, Paul Casaletto and wife Joanne of Jacksonville, FL, and Fern Sirti of Malden, MA, Dolores, Beverly, Thomas, Robin, David and Douglas Bell; his 16 cherished grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited Thursday, April 11, 2013, from 4-8PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735. Burial will be private for family.
