Grace Erickson

Grace (Capece) Erickson, 91, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Laurelton Village Care Center, Brick. Mrs. Erickson was born in Elizabeth and lived in South Orange for many years before moving to Greenbriar II, Brick, in 1983. She was the Secretary to the Chairman of the Mathematics Department at Seton Hall University for over 20 years, prior to her retirement in 1983. Mrs. Erickson was a member of the Greenbriar II Line Dancers and the Silverton Dance Club, and a parishioner of St. Dominic's Church, Brick.

Mrs. Erickson was predeceased by her beloved husband, John F. "Jack" Erickson, in 2008. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, John and Linda Erickson, and Robert and Yonnie Erickson, and her daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine Erickson and Arthur Paone, and Barbara and Herman Fuchs. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Justin and Joshua Erickson, and Katherine and David Rokose, and her great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Rokose. Mrs. Erickson was predeceased by all 8 of her siblings, but is also survived by her in-laws, Eleanor Capece, Natalie Sautter and Gerald Fanning.

Visitation will take place at O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Dominic's Church, Brick, on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at 10 A.M., followed by entombment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
