Janice Roth, 71, passed away in a true state of peace on April 2nd, 2013 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She was born in Neptune and was fortunate to grow up along the Manasquan River in Wall Township. Janice was an English teacher in both Wall and Long Branch as well as a multi-subject educator for the NJ Challenge Program. She was able to transfer to Germany while working for the government out of Fort Monmouth, there she was a tutor for our troops and had an opportunity to travel extensively throughout Europe. She learned German while living overseas, married, and had a child. Janice worshipped at St. Uriel's in Sea Girt until she became too ill to do so.
She was predeceased by her parents Morgan and Mabel Van Note. She is survived by her son, Mark and her granddaughter, Penelope, who she loved unconditionally. Also, she leaves behind wonderful friends who she had known since as early as grade school.
