Jean B. Quiles

Jean B. Quiles passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at her home in the Sewaren section of Woodbridge Township. She was 71 years old. Born in Elizabeth, she resided in Linden before moving to Sewaren 41 years ago. Ms. Quiles was employed as a clerk with the United States Postal Service at the Woodbridge Post Office for 20 years before her retirement in 2006; and also worked at the Sewaren Public Library. She was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge.
Ms. Quiles was predeceased by her parents, John and Bella Kanski; two brothers, John Kanski, Jr. and Stanley Kanski; and a sister, Stella Zimmerman. Surviving are her loving daughter, Darlene Zemkoski, of Belford; her loving son, Kenneth Quiles, of Hackensack; two brothers, Edward Kanski of Laurence Harbor and Walter Kanski of Florida, a dear sister in law, Monica Kanski, of Belford; two grandchildren which she adored and were her greatest loves, John Michael and Jenna Zemkoski; her former husband Carlos Quiles; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www.costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
