Joseph Bacchione

AGE: 92 • Keansburg

Joseph Bacchione, 92, of Keansburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Bayside Manor in Keansburg. He was born on May 12, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY, where he grew up. In 1951, he and his wife Julia settled in Hoboken, where they raised their family. In 1992, they moved to Hazlet. Joseph was a retired quality control representative for the U.S. Government and a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during WWII.

He was predeceased by his parents, Emanuel and Madeline (Nobile) Bacchione; and his beloved wife, Julia Bacchione. Joseph is survived by his loving children, Joseph Bacchione and his wife Charlotte of Hazlet, Kevin Bacchione and his wife Annabel of Somerset, and Brian Bacchione and his wife Kathleen of Bayonne. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Michael Bacchione and his wife Tony, David, Michele, Tatiana, Bianca and Julia Bacchione. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19 at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Rt. 35 N, Hazlet. Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning, Dec. 20 at Holy Family R.C. Church, Union Beach. Entombment in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
