Marilyn, I was very sad to hear about Joe's passing. I've had more fond childhood memories than I can count when visiting your home (playing Paper Boy on Nintendo, watching the 1987 Giants / 49ers playoff game and playing badminton in the backyard to name a few).
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. "Joey" will be missed but his memory will live on.

Father, Father In-law, and Grandpa Joe. We can't say enough how much you meant to us, always there for us, taking his Colorado family to the Jersey Shore, sending us care packages with devil dogs. Joe's the best guy to sit on a beach with and smoke cigars. We love you Grandpa Joe!

Marilyn, We're still in shock. We are so sorry. He will most definitely be missed. He will also be greeted by one of his best friends. I'm sure they are talking about old times at the "old" News. R.I.P. Slow Joe!

From Richie and Sharon Ryan,
We have some great memories of Joe back
in the 70's when he was best friends with my brother-in-law Eddie Ryan.
They made quite a pair, we called them
"Fred Flintstone" and"Barney Rubble"
Joe being Barney, They were really funny together and always had us laughing! He has a wonderful son Joe,
our nephew, that we're really proud of! Rest in Peace Joseph Kurak Sr.
