MARIO TANGO SR.
AGE: 74 LONG BRANCH
Mario Tango Sr., 74, of Long Branch, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a barber for 50 years, most recently working at the Clip Joint in the Monmouth Mall, Eatontown. Born in Newark, he lived in Ocean Grove before moving to Long Branch 12 years ago.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Joe, Sal, and Pat; and two sisters, Minnie and Rosie. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Vivian Doyle Tango; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Vito Anthony and Lourdes Tango, Mario Tango Jr. and Nicholas Tango; two brothers, Vito and Anthony Tango; two sisters, Margie Genova and Lena Bonnano; four grandchildren, Gabriella, Natalia, Carmine, and Claudia; and his mother-in-law, Lenke Doyle.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. Monday, May 4 until the funeral service at 8:30 p.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.), Long Branch. If you wish, the family invites you to leave an online condolence at www.damianofuneralhome.com
