MARY R. CISER KOSSMAN
AGE: 88 TOMS RIVER
Mary R. Ciser Kossman, 88, of Toms River, formerly of Jersey City, died Friday, April 24, 2009, at Tallwoods Care Center, Bayville. Born in Hoboken, she lived in Jersey City before moving to Toms River in 1972.
She was the beloved wife of the late Howard Kossman and the late Walter McFadden, the devoted mother of Barbara Manzo, Judy Coleman, Susan Chacone, Maryanne Lavin and the late Pfc. Gregory McFadden (Vietnam 1967), the cherished grandmother of nine, great-grandmother of 17, and dear sister of Harold Ciser, Lorraine Chiusolo and the late Catherine Bello.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 26 at the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday, April 27 from the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
