NORMA RAMEY
AGE: 71 FORMERLY OF FREEHOLD
Norma Ramey, (formerly of Freehold), 71, left her earthly residence to receive her heavenly reward, Sunday April 26, 2009. Mrs. Ramey retired in 2000 from the State of New Jersey where she was employed as an administrative services professional. Throughout her life, Mrs. Ramey was very active in church. In her early years, she was a member of Second Baptist Church in Freehold (now known as New Beginnings Agape Christian Fellowship), where she participated in the Sunday School and music ministries. Upon her move to Browns Mills, she united with the St. Mark Baptist Church where she would become a member of the Mothers and Deaconess Ministry.
Mrs. Ramey leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 51 years, Edward Franklin, of Browns Mills; 3 daughters, Sherelle Beckham of Mechanicsville, VA, Darlene Keaton (Albert) of Jacksonville, FL and Dawn Ramey of Jersey City, NJ; 3 grandchildren, Kendall Keaton and Kyle Keaton of Jacksonville, FL, and Sherlin Beckham of Mechanicsville, VA; 4 step children, Patricia, Edward, William and Lionel Ramey; an uncle George Key, of Englishtown, NJ; an Aunt, Earlie McQueen, of Yonkers, NY, and a host of many other family and friends. Mrs. Ramey was pre-deceased by her father, Samuel Hill and her mother, Ethel Hill.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Moore Funeral Home, Browns Mills, NJ. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Marks Baptist Church, 545 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, NJ, where she will be eulogized by the Pastor, Reverend Curtis W. Smith. A viewing will precede the service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow the repast in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold, NJ.

Uncle Bud and family,
We were saddened by the news of the passing of Aunt Norma. May you find comfort in knowing that God makes no mistakes. He obviously needed another beautiful flower for his garden. God bless the family during this difficult time. You are in our prayers.
