Rose Schuyler Collins, 97, of Spring Lake Heights, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, comforted by her loving family. Born in Pottstown, PA, Rose graduated from Immaculata College in 1937. Rose was the devoted wife of Thomas F. Collins who predeceased her in 2008. She was a loving mother and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother.
Rose is survived by her children, Ellen Molica (Thomas Molica), Christopher J. Collins, Thomas F. Collins Jr., Esq. (Rosemarie Wronka), Rosemary Rupp (Francis Rodman Rupp, Esq.), and Kandy Collins; her grandchildren, Michael Collins, Mariah Collins Belcher, Thomas Molica Jr., Esq., Peter Molica (Catherine Bernard), Sarah Molica, Jesse Wronka Collins (Dr. Prathima Nandivada), Jonathan Wronka Collins, Kristen Wronka Collins, Roddy Rupp and Theo Andonyadis; and her great-grandchildren, Matthew and Evan Molica, Savannah and Elizabeth Collins, Alex and Noah Cobb.
A gathering at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Point Pleasant Beach will be followed by an 11 a.m. memorial Mass. Prayers will follow at 3 p.m. at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C.
