Roseanne Godwin Kehr

Pine Beach

Roseanne Godwin Kehr, of Pine Beach, was born on Sept. 15th in Bangkok, Thailand in 1963. She died peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, after a long courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. Roseanne recently retired from her position as Special Needs Teacher with the Freehold Township School District for 16 1/2 years. Roseanne loved to draw and was even awarded an Art Award in 1993 from Ocean County College. Roseanne received her MA in Technology from Georgian Court College.

Roseanne was predeceased by her father, Francis Godwin; father-in-law, Daniel R. Kehr Sr.; step-father, Victor Berger; and brother-in-law, Thomas P. Earley. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel R. Kehr Jr. and their daughters, Jade and Jamie. She is also survived by her mother, Marie Godwin Berger of Marlton; mother-in-law, Agnes Kehr of Somerset; her brother, Frank Godwin and his wife Amy of Sinking Spring, PA; her sisters, Marie Godwin of Columbus, OH, Bernadette Godwin of Philadelphia, PA, Lynda Earley and Gary Reedell of Ewing, Debe Lindenberger and Diane Hernandez of Queensbury, NY, and Michelle Kehr of Somerset. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews and great-nephews as well as extended family and friends.

The family would like to send a heartfelt Thank You to all of the neighbors, co-workers at her school district, family and friends who supported us during this journey. We truly appreciate your support and love. We extend a special thanks to Laura and Will D. of Pine Beach. You are Roseanne's Guardian Angel; we cannot thank you enough for all that you have done. We would also like to thank Father Stas' and Mary; Dr. Sinha, Dr. Shah and Dr. J. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10 at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Road, Bayville. Cremation will be private.
