GRACE LANG DEVOE
AGE: 90 MILLTOWN
Grace Lang DeVoe, 90, died Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Francis E. Parker Memorial Home in New Brunswick. Born in Savannah, Georgia, she had lived in New Brunswick before moving to Milltown in 1957. Mrs. DeVoe had worked as a teller for New Brunswick Savings Bank in New Brunswick for over 10 years before retiring in 1985.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Williams DeVoe, Jr. in 1979 and her brother, Harrison N. Lang. Surviving are three daughters, Grace M. DeVoe of South Daytona Beach, Florida, Marcia E. DeVoe of Milltown and Katherine D. Vaughn and her husband Vincent M. Vaughn of North Brunswick; two granddaughters, Amy K. Vaughn of North Brunswick and Emilie Grace DeVoe of Milltown; and a son, Frederick W. DeVoe, III of New Jersey.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday at Christ Church Episcopal, 5 Paterson Street, New Brunswick. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Episcopal Church Cemetery in Spotswood. Friends and relatives may call Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1160 Route 22 East, Suite 103, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
