James Lee Gant

AGE: 66 • Toms River

James Lee Gant, 66, of Toms River, passed away on Friday, February 08, 2013, at Community Medical Center. Born in Pt Pleasant, he grew up in Brick and graduated Brick H.S. in 1966. James proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a skilled master carpenter and craftsman. James loved going on vacation with family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Ira W. and Barbara L. Gant and his brother Ira W. (Butch) Gant. Surviving are his beloved wife of 31 years Gloria (Krupa) Gant; his loving children, Donald and his wife Rose, Arthur and his wife Kaitlin , Joseph and his wife Andrea and Michelle Brown and her husband Stephen; his brother Hewett Gant; sister Myia Bender and 7 cherished grandchildren AJ, Hailey, Kelsye, Ryleigh, Joseph Jr., Vayda and Lucas.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Rd. Toms River. Condolences may be made by visiting www.andersonandcampbell.com.
