James O. Pell

AGE: 70 • Toms River

James O. Pell, 70, of Toms River, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was a lifelong resident of Toms River. James proudly served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Constellation during the Vietnam War. He was Chief Engineer for Allied Signal Aerospace in Eatontown for over 30 years. James attended The Church of Grace and Peace in Toms River.

Surviving are his beloved wife Sharon (Applegate) Pell; his sons David Pell of Ocean, Michael Pell and Brian Pell of Greensboro, N.C. and Gordon Clayton of Toms River; his daughters Meghan Pell of Toms River and Melanie Kloppenborg of Miller, MO; two brothers Frank Pell and Ronald Pell; and 5 grandchildren.

A celebration of James Pell's life will take place on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. with a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River, NJ. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in care of the Pell Family for Meghan's College Trust Fund. Condolences may be made by visiting www.andersonandcampbell.com.
