AGE: 92 • Jackson Twp.

Lillian H. Kapp (nee Vigus), 92, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at home surrounded by her family. She was born June 10, 1921, in Matawan, raised in the Legler section of Jackson before residing at Kapp's Korner in Whitesville all of her married life. Mrs. Kapp was employed in sales at Freedman's Bakery, Lakewood, NJ, before her retirement. Lillian was a Communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Jackson.

She was predeceased by her husband, John S. Kapp; and her son, Stevan. She is survived by her daughter, Arleen Clayton and her husband Paul; her son, John Kapp and his wife Janis; her son, James Kapp; her daughter, Lois and her partner Tracey Schneider; her son, Paul Kapp and his wife Lisa; her daughter, Elizabeth Scott; her son, Joseph Kapp and his wife Dawn; her 18 grandchildren; her 5 great grandchildren; and her 2 great-great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Sunday, February 9, 2014, from 2-6 PM at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Her Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, February 10, 2014, at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson, NJ. Please meet at church at 9:15 AM. Interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr., Lakewood, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Lillian's memory to , 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105, or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 740 Broad St., Shrewsbury, NJ 07702.
