AGE: 79 • Hazlet

Rose B. Hogan, 79, of Hazlet, was granted her angel wings on February 11th, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Rose Bridget Brolly on September 23, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY., where she grew up and attended Girls Tech High School and also worked as a clerk at Wellington Sears Textile Company for 8 years.

After marriage, she and her husband Ronald resided in Jersey City until 1968, when they settled in Hazlet to raise their family. Rose lived out the rest of her life as a domestic engineer, doting over her loving family. She also worked as a receptionist at Bayshore Community Hospital for 18 years before retiring and was a communicant of St. Benedict R.C. Church for 47 years. Rose enjoyed being with her family most of all. Her other interests and hobbies included traveling, cross-word puzzles and baseball. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Susan (Mullin) Brolly and her sister Theresea Raffoney. Rose is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years Ronald F. Hogan, her loving children, Michael Hogan and his wife Kerry of Lincroft, Donna Zupa and her husband Robert of Freehold, Richard Hogan and his wife Juli of Ponte Vedra, FL., Susan Morales and her husband Paul of Hazlet and Kenneth Hogan and his wife Michelle of Leonardo, along with 15 cherished grandchildren and 1 adored great grandchild. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, February 18th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Wednesday, February 19th from 9:15 to 10 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Route 35 N, Hazlet. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, February 19th, St. Benedict R.C. Church, Holmdel, 10:30 AM. Interment, Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
