Marilyn (nee Gyure) Paolercio, 88, of Toms River, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed peacefully on March 30, 2014. Mrs. Paolercio was born in Newark and resided in Hillside and Ormond Beach, Fl. before moving to Toms River. At age 16, she owned and operated Marilyn's Beauty Shop in Newark. After her marriage to Carmen (Nuch) Paolercio she remained at home to raise her family. She was a gourmet cook and loved to entertain. This passion led her into the food industry, where she worked until moving in with daughter, Lois. Marilyn is predeceased by her husband Carmen. Surviving are two children, Richard and his wife Betty and Lois O'Sullivan and her husband Gordon; five grandchildren, Brian, Melissa, Megan Christopher and Nicole; and her great granddaughter Penelope. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, Apr. 2nd, from 4-8pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville 08721. Funeral Services are Thursday at 10am in the funeral home with interment to follow to Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn's name to:Seaside Park Police Department, PBA Local #182, PO Box 182, Seaside Park, NJ 08752, would be appreciated.
