Miriam C. (Babos) Jutras, 87, of Wall, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Long Branch and lived her life in Wall Township. Miriam worked as an office manager at Hollywood Country Club before serving as a Secretary to the Superintendent of the Wall Township Board of Education for many years. She was a member of the Manasquan Elks Ladies Auxiliary and served as President and was selected as Lady Elk of the Year. Miriam lived a full unselfish life, enjoyed knitting/crocheting, reading and watching game shows with her beloved cat Charlie. She took great pleasure in family gatherings and creating memorable holidays.

She is predeceased by her parents, May and Vernon H. King of West Belmar; her brother, Vernon King; her first husband, Joseph Babos; her second husband, Nazaire (Charles) Jutras; and her daughter, Jean Waltsak. Miriam is survived by her three children, daughter, Lynda Tebbs and her husband David of Wall, two sons, Vernon J Babos and wife Janice of Wall and Joseph P. Babos and partner John Reidy of Wall and son-in-law, Martin Waltsak and wife Anne of Manasquan. Miriam leaves behind adoring grandchildren, Bonnie and John Devereux of Brielle, Robert Tebbs of W. Belmar, Kelly and William Gero of Brick, Martin Waltsak and partner Ivan of California, Colleen and Michael Jacobs of Brick, Jamie Nielsen of Michigan, Jennilee and Peter Bulkley of Brielle. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Austin, Sara, Jeannie, Abbey, Brian and many nieces and nephews. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren deeply and will be truly missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 4 at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a .
