James Campbell passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Jimmy was born in March 1934, in Jersey City and grew up in Demarest and Fair Haven, N.J. He attended Rumson High School and graduated from Croydon Hall Academy, Middletown. He was a member of the New York Stock Exchange from 1962 until retirement in 1990, and also a member of the Buttonwood Club and the Downtown Athletic Club. Jimmy was an avid reader, gardener, bicyclist, Red Zone fan and best friend to many dogs including Cody his rescue dog. His music palate ranged from Bach to the Beatles.
He was predeceased by his parents, James and Mildred Campbell, his daughter JoAnne, and his best friend Mickey. Jimmy a devoted husband, father and grandfather, is survived by his loving wife, Terry; his beloved daughters, Jill Campbell Stillman and husband, Jerry, and Elizabeth Campbell; his adored grandchildren Robert Iannone and his fiancée, Meghan Trembley, Elyse Iannone, Julie and Jaclyn Stillman, his brother George, sisters Mildred Dixon and Ruth Gregory, and many nieces and nephews.
The family invites you to join them for a memorial gathering at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.), Long Branch on Sunday, April 6 from 2 to 5 P.M.
