AGE: 95 • Manchester

Stanley A. Nawalaniec, 95, of Leisure Village West, Manchester, died Sunday, April 27, at Aristacare at Manchester. He was employed for 38 years as a Maintenance Mechanic for the Lowe Paper Company, Ridgefield prior to his retirement. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. He was a parishioner of St. John's Church, Lakehurst. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels with the Ocean County Nutrition Center for 20 years. He also was a volunteer for the Ocean County Animal Shelter. He was a life member of the Navy League. An avid golfer and bowler, he bowled a 300 game in 1964. He was also a member of the Leisure Village West Golf Club. Born in Everson, PA, he lived in Norwood for 20 years before moving to Manchester in 1984. He is survived by his devoted wife of 72 years, Josephine (Belaboky) Nawalaniec, and his brother Edward. Visitation is Wednesday from 9-11 am at the Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11:00 am at St John's Church, Lakehurst. Interment will then follow at the Brigadier Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to .
