Kathleen Christy (Nau) Myers, of Point Pleasant, N.J., age 69, died on Friday, May 2nd in WakeMed-Raleigh hospital in Raleigh, NC. Born September 2, 1944 in Pittsburgh, PA, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Albert and Alberta Nau of Fallsington, PA. Kathleen was a 1962 graduate of Pennsbury HS, worked at Bell Telephone in Trenton and Bell Labs in Whippany before becoming a wonderful full time Mother and Grandmother. After her children were grown, Kathleen volunteered with the Hopewell Valley Health Clinic in Pennington. An accomplished artist, Kathie made the wedding dresses for both of her daughters, painted in oil, watercolor and other mediums - including interior wall paint, was awarded Best of Show at the Flemington Fair in 1982 for a counted crosstitch quilt and for many years hand painted individual Christmas cards for family and special friends, yet never ever wanted any accolades for her beautiful handiwork. A proud and humble Irish gal through and through.

Kathleen leaves behind Robert, her husband of 48 years, daughter Christy M. Drapala and her husband Robert of Mt Holly, NJ, daughter Torrey Kim and her husband Robert of Apex, NC, cherished grandchildren Garrett, Charles and Colin Kim and Meadow Drapala, her brother A. Ronald Nau of Levittown, PA, and many nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas in 2005. Visitation will be Friday, May 9th from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Rd, Pennington, N.J. followed by a funeral service and mass at Noon at the Incarnation-St. James RC Church, 1545 Pennington Rd., Ewing, N.J. Burial will follow at Ewing Church Cemetery, 100 Scotch Rd, Ewing Twp, NJ. Condolences are welcome at www.wilsonapple.com.
