Carmine Leone, 85, of Brick, died peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2014, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Carmine was born in Italy to Joseph and Giovanna (Lopa) Leone. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #2151 in Brick and a member of the Buckhead and Rod Gun Club in Long Branch. He retired from Ford Motor Co. in Edison as a fork lift operator after 39 years of service.

Carmine is predeceased by his parents, in 1999 by his beloved wife, Frances Lucille (Acquaro) Leone and later by his step-son, Joseph Roussell. He is survived by his son, Anthony Leone and daughter, Linda Stella and her husband Jimmy, all of TX; step-sons, Paul Roussell of PA, Larry Roussell and wife RoseMarie of Oceanport and Gerard Roussell and girlfriend Georgette Onello of Long Branch; step-daughter, Linda Roussell of Brick; daughter-in-law, Roxanne Roussell of Brick; sister, Antioneta Mainolfihe of Italy; brother-in-law, Andrew Acquaro; sister-in-law, Jeanette Choma; grandchildren, Sonia, JC, Vanessa, Steven, Joseph, Harry, Teena, Kelly, Sean, Andy and Paul and girlfriend Suzanne Astrel; great-grandchildren, Carmine, Aaron, Jaycee, Kayla, Ariel, Austin, Gianna, Karina, Natalia, Jaida, Dillon and Kamrin and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 7 at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery in Middletown.
