Ines E. Carrington, went on to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 15, 2014. She was born in Victoria de Las Tunas, Oriente, Cuba on Feb. 23, 1929 and migrated to the United States in 1958. She resided in Bronx, NY for 10 years and moved to Lakewood in 1971. Prior to passing, she resided in Manchester with her husband, Anthony U. Carrington Sr. During her latter years, Ines was a loyal member of Calvary Lighthouse, Lakewood, where she worked with children in several capacities and participated as a volunteer in the Church's feeding and community outreach programs. She also devoted many years to ministry at the Ocean County Jail, local nursing homes and with low-income children in Lakewood. She was employed for many years as a pre-school teacher in the Lakewood Head Start Program.

Ines will be remembered for her eternal love of the Lord, her unwavering faith, her infectious laugh and her endless commitment to her family, friends and community. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Sr. of 52 years; Rafaela Ochoa-Amaro (Luis), Hollywood, FL; five children, Patricia Darden (Robert), Piscataway, Anthony Jr. (Bivia), Toms River, Jeffrey Carrington, Ocean, Cheryl Petroski (Paul), E. Brunswisk, and Marcos Carrington (Jovita), North Brunswick; 10 grandchildren, Anthony, Kyle, Alexander, Darrion, Rae-Ana, Jacqueline, Selena, Alexis, Mason, and Jethro; siblings, Gloria Peralta Linton, NY, Clara Luz Weiersmueller Linton, Switzerland, Jesus Manuel Linton, Cuba, Archibald Linton, Cuba. and Pedro Linton, Cuba; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nephews and nieces.

The viewing and funeral services will be held at Calvary Lighthouse, 1133 E. County Line Road, Lakewood, as follows: Viewing from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 20; Funeral from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, June 21. Interment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. Arrangements were entrusted to the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, Manchester.
