William J. Fraser

William J. Fraser, 65, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. William was born on Dec. 27, 1948 in Neptune, where he also grew up. In 1978, he settled in the Bayshore area of NJ. Throughout his life, William worked as a security guard for the Vonage Company in Holmdel. He was also a proud U.S. veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. William was a member of the VFW Post #4303, the American Legion Post #515 and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Post #2179 in Middletown. He was predeceased by his father, William Fraser. William is survived by his dear mother, Norma Fraser; his beloved wife of 29 years, Sandra (Uriarte) Fraser; his loving children, Debbie Mendez and her husband Frank of Jackson, Tina Kozemchak and her husband Matthew of Jackson, William Fraser and his wife Melanie of Brick, along with his sisters, Nancy Sinnot, Lori Stewart and Wendy LeCompte, his brother, Steven Fraser and his cherished grandchildren, Selena Mendez, Emily & Ethan Kozemchak, Natalie & Carly Fraser. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Rt. 35 N, Hazlet. In respect of William's wishes, he will be privately cremated. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 29th between the hours of 4 and 8 p.m., hosted by American Legion Post #515 and VFW Post #2179, 1 Veterans Lane, Port Monmouth, NJ 07748.
