Patricia Mary Verbovsky, 62, of Union Beach, NJ, died on July 3, 2014 at home surrounded by family. She was born on March 9, 1952 in Jersey City, NJ the daughter of the late Helen and Frank Breese. She was the oldest of 6 siblings. She graduated from Paramus Catholic High School in 1970 and William Patterson University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education in 1974. On June 29, 1974 she marriedFrank Verbovsky, who survives. Patricia and Frank moved to Union Beach in 1979 and have resided there together for the last 35 years.
Through the years, Patricia was a substitute teacher at Holy Family Elementary School and a tutor at Brookdale Community College. She loved working with children of all ages and going to every sporting event that she could make. She was always happy and her laughter would fill up the room.
She was a caring, easy-going and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her children, daughter, Tara Verbovsky and her fiancè, Wesley Ordway; son, Kevin Verbovsky and his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Allison Verbovsky; and daughter, Jull Verbovsky. She was the beloved grandmother of Tyler Jackson, 8, who was the "apple of her eye." She is also survived by her sisters, Janet Breese, Marian Altamore, Karen Breese Fisher, and Lori Lemire, and her brother, Robert Breese. She also had 8 nieces and 1 nephew.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 8:30 am at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 9:30 am at Holy Family, 727 Hwy 36, Hazlet. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
