Maria Rosaria Pugliese, 42, of Manalapan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday evening, August 1st at Centra State Hospital in Freehold. She was born Maria Rosaria Scotto DiCarlo on April 3, 1972 in Naples, Italy, where she grew up. In 1990, she moved to the U.S., relocating to Whippany. Soon after in 1992, she settled in Manalapan.
Maria is survived by her beloved husband, Fabio Schiano, her adoring parents, Antonio and Teresa (Palumbo) Scotto DiCarlo, her loving children, Serena Pugliese and Daniele Merrone, her dear sisters, Elisa Schiano and her husband Pasquale, Giovanna Schiano Lomoriello and her husband Giuseppe, Rita Scotto DiSantolo and her husband Michael, and Assunta Lubrano and her husband Salvatore and her dear brother, Giuseppe Scotto DiCarlo, along with many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
