Mary Klein

Mary Klein, 91, of Wall, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Mrs. Klein (nee Procaccini), was born and raised in Morristown, and was a graduate of Morristown High School. She began her career as a buyer of ladies sportswear for Epstein's Department Store in Morristown. After moving to the Shore, she continued her career at Steinbach's, in Asbury Park, as a buyer, group manager, and Assistant Store Manager, before retiring in 1992. She then continued to work, full-time, as a cashier, at her family's business, Klein's Fish Market and Waterside Café, Belmar, until her passing. She was also a homemaker, devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren. After living in Belmar and South Belmar since the 1940's, Mrs. Klein and her husband moved to Wall several years ago.

Mrs. Klein is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Ollie Klein, Jr., by her son and daughter-in-law, Ollie III and Michele Klein, of Spring Lake Heights, and her daughter, Michelle Lease, of Wall. She is also survived by her grandchildren and their spouses, Elizabeth and Brian Love, of Belmar, Jacqueline and Kenneth Leon, of Shark River Hills, and Michael Lease and Samantha Lease, of Wall. Mrs. Klein also leaves three great-grandchildren, Brianna and Alexandra Leon, and Grace Love, and was awaiting the arrival of Grace's sister. Mrs. Klein is also survived by her brothers, Nick Procaccini, of Morris Plains, and Frank Procaccini, of Wall, and other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Henry Lease, in 2001.

Visitation will take place at O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, from 4-8 P.M. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rose Church, Belmar, on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at 10 A.M., followed by interment at St. Catharine's Cemetery, Wall.
