Frances Victoria Prasa

Manchester

Frances V. Prasa of Manchester died Saturday at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Where, as in her life, she had all the nurses & doctors fall for her smile and wit. Born and raised in Hillside, she lived in Edison for many years, moving to Manchester in 2003. She worked as a secretary for Siemen's in Menlo Park about 7 years before retiring in 2003. She was very involved within the Renaissance community where she lived, being a member of the Red Hat Society, the Singles Club, and the Italian-American Club. She also volunteered at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. She loved to shop and was a great cook, but she prided herself on her guidance as mother wife & friend. She loved her family and her many friends she made at the Renaissance through her life. She is predeceased by her husband, Stephen, who died in 2003, and her son Stephen who passed in 1988. She is survived by her son, Peter Prasa of Somerville; daughter Karen and husband Robert McKenna of Edison; brother Robert Urbanski and wife Christine of Edison; sister Mary Krochinski of Toms River; and 3 grandchildren, Melissa McKenna & Andrew and Jaclyn Prasa.
