James had a big heart and loved to help people. He was an active volunteer for several groups including the local food pantries, the Millstone Elks and St. John's Church in Allentown.
James bought a farm in 1950 in Clarksburg, where he built several homes, including one for his daughter in 1980 and one for himself in 1985. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, camping and fishing. Most of all, James loved his family and looked forward to gatherings with his large extended family.
Son of the late Filipo and Carmela D'Amore, James was predeceased by seven brothers, Alfred, Atilio, Carmine, Joseph, Frank, Antony and Natale D'Amore and two sisters, Anna Antonelli and Rose Croce.
