AGE: 31 • Hazlet
Thomas Sauickie Jr., 31, of Hazlet, passed away suddenly after a car accident on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Bellevue Hospital in NY, NY. Thomas was born on December 24, 1984 in Red Bank. In 2003, he graduated from Raritan High School in Hazlet. He then went on to study at Monmouth University, and graduated with the class of 2008. Thomas married the love of his life, Tracie Sauickie, and together they settled in Hazlet, to raise their daughter, Chloe. He was a devoted husband and father, and will always be remembered for his unconditional love and support for his wife and daughter. Thomas was currently working at R. Helfrich & Sons Charter Bus Company in Hazlet. He worked at the company since he was 15 years old, and took great pride in being a part of the family business. Thomas was also a former volunteer fire fighter for West Keansburg Fire Company. Thomas is survived by his beloved parents, Thomas Sr. and Debbie (Helfrich) Sauickie, his devoted loving wife, Tracie Sauickie, his adored daughter, Chloe Sauickie, his dear siblings, Jenna Sampson and her husband Adam of Union Beach, and Jacob Sauickie of Hazlet. Thomas is also survived by his grandparents, Jacob and Virginia Helfrich, his mother-in-law, Francine Sky, his niece, Shelby Sampson, his niece/god-daughter, Ellie Sampson, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday evening, January 28th from 7 to 9 PM, Friday, January 29th from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM, and Saturday morning, January 30, 2016 from 9:45 to 10:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Rt. 35 N, Hazlet. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday morning, January 30th, 11:30 AM, The Catholic Church of St. Ann, Keansburg. Entombment, Holmdel Mausoleum, Holmdel. My love,
There is not a single day that goes by that I don´t think of you or speak your name, talk about the amazing life we shared and the beyond special love we had always had for one another. You are truly my life´s true soulmate and best friend. Thank you for everything, thank you for Always being there no matter how tough or stressful life got, I always felt safe with you by my side. You define the meaning of loyalty and real true love a husband and father could give so selflessly and yet you always made it it all look so easy because you have the heart and soul of a true saint. Never once had I ever doubted us, our love, lifelong friendship, loyalty to each other, and most importantly our love for our perfect angel we created our Chloe. I never doubted that we could make it through anything with u right by my side. The love that I have for you goes far beyond any words could ever express but you mean the absolute world to me Tom - my heart hasn´t been complete without you and won´t ever be. We made an amazing little girl together that is for sure. She is so you in so many ways, it´s crazy. She was young when you had to leave us but we speak about everyday and she remembers so much and the special things that you did together! Not just because she is ours but she is the best child a parent could ever have possibly prayed for. I get so many compliments from her teachers, other parents, etc on what an amazing little girl she is. She´s wise beyond her years I´ve been told that she´s got an old soul! I love her more than anything in this entire world I can´t help but stare at her and think of you! She is still your clone and has your heart, your sense of humor, and is just as loyal and trustworthy as you always were. Shes like you in the way that she´s fiercely protective and loves her mommy just as you always were of me! We love you with ALL of our heart and soul my precious angel.
