GERALD "JERRY" KNOELLER
AGE: 55 BRICK
Gerald "Jerry" Knoeller, 55, of Brick, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday July 21, 2009. Born in Bayonne, Jerry moved to Brick as a small boy with his parents Charles and Dolores (nee Prudente), and quickly took a liking to his new home. He went on to be a star quarterback for Brick High, graduating in 1971. He later began a career in HVAC and had even started his own business, American Mechanical LLC. He had a thirst for life and all it had to offer, even recently receiving a BS in Civil Engineering. He always loved the outdoors, the beach, and was very happy spending time on his boat out on the water. However, nothing brought him more happiness or made him more proud than the one true love of his life, his beautiful daughter Cassondra. Her name made him smile and her presence gave him purpose. He will continue to watch over her from heaven.
Jerry was predeceased by his father Charles Paul (2003). He leaves his adoring mother Dolores of Lakewood, his wonderful daughter Cassondra of Brick, Uncle Anthony & Aunt Barbara Prudente of Allenwood, cousins Ray & Deborah DeLuca and Drew DeLuca of Point Pleasant Beach, and many other loving relatives and friends. Although his time with us was too short, Jerry touched a lot of lives he will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held on Sunday July 26 from 1-5pm at O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11am Monday at Church of the Visitation, Brick, with entombment to follow at St. Mary of the Lake, Lakewood.
