Ralph D. Yeager "Buddy", 55, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, at The Manor in Freehold, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Dec. 8, 1953 in Manhattan, N.Y. Buddy and Geraldine lived in Manhattan until 1979 when they moved to Hazlet. He was employed as a truck driver for Harbison Walker Refractories of Rahway.
Buddy was predeceased by his parents, Ralph D. Sr. and Clare O'Leary Yeager. He is survived by his beloved wife, Geraldine Richio Yeager; his loving son, Vincent Yeager; his sister, Claremarie Vadala and her husband Michael of Bethlehem, Pa.; his nephews, Michael and James Vadala; his mother-in-law, Frances Richio of Manhattan, N.Y.; and his sister-in-law, Diane Richio of Manhattan, N.Y. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, with a religious service at 3:45 p.m. at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 Highway 35 North, Hazlet.
