The world lost an amazing human being on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010 in the passing of Fredric Selsky. He was 52 years old. He attended Syracuse University. Fred was vice president of sales for Weiner, Crowly & St. John located in Leonia, N.J. An active member of Sinai Free Synagogue, Fred was immediate past president and Chairman of the Board. He was known and beloved for his continual generosity of heart and spirit and was a pillar to the congregation. Fred was an avid golfer and a sports fan. He enjoyed cheering for the Jets, Rangers and Yankees.
Fred was son of the late Philip Selsky. He is survived by his adoring wife of 27 years, Nancy, and his sons, Andrew and Lyle; his mother, Barbara Selsky Friedman of Freehold, NJ; his sisters, Robin Sebor of Freehold, NJ, Lisa Hendricks of Howell, NJ, and brother, Mitchell Selsky of Brick, NJ as well as his loving mother-in-law, Ann Spilka of Brooklyn, NY and many nieces and nephews.
Services for Fred will be held at Sinai Free Synagogue in Mount Vernon, NY on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 11:00 am.
