MICHAEL LEE MALTZMAN
AGE: 70 EATONTOWN
Michael Lee Maltzman, 70, of Eatontown, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was presently employed with Starkman Distributors in Atlantic City; and previously managed Jersey Coast Tobacco and Candy Co. in Belmar for 20 years. Michael was an avid golfer, a member of the Carl Cohen Y League and the N.J. Tobacco Association. Born in Long Branch, he was a life resident of the shore area.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Scott Maltzman; a son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Denise Maltzman; two daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah Zabilowicz, and Stacey and James Lastella; and a sister, Lynne Stolzer. He was known as "Pa" by seven grandchildren, Rebecka and Emily Zabilowicz, Nicole and Jamie Lastella, Hannah, Grace and Jack Maltzman. Nothing meant more to him then having his family close by.
Family and friends may gather from 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 10 until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue, (corner of Third Ave.), Long Branch.
