Obituary Condolences

Norman D. Gray, 60, of Millville died suddenly and unexpectedly Friday morning, May 21, 2010, while vacationing in Uniontown, PA. The husband of Denise (nee Daniels) Gray, they had been married for 36 years and had been residents of Millville for the last seven years; moving there from Hammonton. Norm was born in Plainfield and was the son of Ruth (nee Luthman) Gray Kendzulak of Whiting and the late Douglas Gray. He graduated from Piscataway High School and served in the US Navy during Vietnam. He was a member of the Navy Medical Corps and served at Camp Pendleton, CA. Most recently, Mr. Gray was employed at Ace Plumbing and Electrical in Vineland. He was highly involved as a volunteer with the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts (RCA) in Millville.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by one son, Justin N. Gray of Philadelphia; two sisters, Susan Rehl of Powell's Point, NC and Judy Wishart of Virginia Beach, VA; and one brother, Richard Gray of Stockton, NJ.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at the Freitag Funeral Home, 137 W. Commerce St. in Bridgeton on Friday morning, May 28th at 11 o'clock. The interment of the cremated remains will follow at the Cumberland County Veteran's Cemetery in Hopewell Township. Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday morning from 9 until 11 a.m. Memorial contributions are suggested in Mr. Gray's memory to River Front Renaissance Center for Arts, 22 N.
