Carolyn De Bow Obituary

Carolyn DeBow, 69, of Silver Ridge Park, Berkeley, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010, at home. Born in Newark, she was raised in Lyndhurst, later living in Neptune for seven years before moving to Toms River in 1972. Prior to her marriage, Carolyn worked as a secretary for Equitable Insurance Co. After moving to Toms River and raising her family, Carolyn worked for the First National Bank. Additionally, she worked as a receptionist for ERA Realty in Toms River. Carolyn loved life and spending time with her family. We will miss our "Sweet Caroline".
Carolyn was predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Veronica Albrecht; and her brother, William Albrecht, in 2009. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Arnold DeBow; one son, Edward DeBow of Toms River; two daughters, Stacey Anne Nadeau and her husband Jeff of Toms River, and Kathleen DeBow of Toms River; one sister, Barbara Del Colliano and her husband John of Marlboro; two grandchildren, Padraic Mc Atee, and Laurel Nadeau, as well as many caring nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22 at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23 at St. Joseph Church, Toms River. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Popcorn Park Zoo, One Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731-5800, would be appreciated.
